It’s new release day, people!

By a show of hands, who knew that publishers release new books on Tuesdays?

I wish I could say that after several years of working in the publishing industry I know why this happens, but I don’t. So I just blissfully mark my calendar and line up outside my local bookstore on Monday evenings waiting for my new books to appear on the shelves on Tuesday mornings.

Today’s new book:

One of the book memes I like to participate in is a weekly post about a new book release I’m anticipating. Being a big fan of Patricia Briggs’s Mercy Thompson series, of course I’m waiting for her newest, Shifting Shadows, to release in September. For a full description of the title, check out the post on WildlyRead.
