No need to add my thoughts, really, as this perfectly sums up how I try to live my life and what I hope to pass on to my own daughter someday.
Mid-way through a recent group exercise class, the teacher lost me. She didn’t lose me because of some complicated step sequence or insanely long set of burpees; I mentally checked out because of a few words she kept saying over and over. “Come on! Get that body ready for your winter beach vacation! Think about how you want to look at those holiday parties! PICTURE HOW YOU’LL LOOK IN THAT DRESS!”

It’s new release day, people!
By a show of hands, who knew that publishers release new books on Tuesdays?
I wish I could say that after several years of working in the publishing industry I know why this happens, but I don’t. So I just blissfully mark my calendar and line up outside my local bookstore on Monday evenings waiting for my new books to appear on the shelves on Tuesday mornings.
